Tea Dedić, CSE student, was featured in the ACM Scholar Spotlights series by ACM-W Europe following her participation in womENcourage 2025 in Brașov, Romania. Tea received the 2025 ACM-W scholarship to attend the conference.
In her spotlight, Tea shared her experience presenting a poster on promoting gender equality in cybersecurity through education and mentorship, participating in the hackathon with Team Minerva, and attending the ACM-W Workshop on Chapters. She described how the experience reinforced her motivation to pursue a career in networks and cybersecurity and to take an active role in strengthening the Sarajevo ACM-W chapter.
Tea's feature highlights the chapter's role in creating pathways for women in computing to gain international visibility and contribute to the global ACM-W community.
