SCWiC 2026 - Sarajevo ACM Celebration of Women in Computing 2026

We are excited to announce that the Sarajevo ACM Celebration of Women in Computing (SCWiC 2026) will take place on 19 May 2026 at the International University of Sarajevo. The event is organized by the Sarajevo ACM-W Professional Chapter and supported by ACM-W Europe.

As part of this celebration, we are inviting undergraduate and graduate students from all engineering fields to submit posters under this year’s theme: “Computing in My Field: Ethics, Equity, and Sustainability”

Authors should submit two PDF documents:

(a) Extended Abstract*. A concise overview of your research (800 to 1,000 words) including the title, author name(s), and affiliation(s). The abstract must not exceed two pages, including references, and should follow the template provided.

(b) Visual Poster. An A1 portrait poster that presents your research visually. It should include the title, author name(s), and affiliation(s), and must cover all six required sections from the call. You are free to design the layout and visuals as you wish.
