Soundharya Parashuram, CSE student, was featured in the ACM Scholar Spotlights series by ACM-W Europe following her participation in womENcourage 2024 in Madrid, Spain. Soundharya received the 2024 ACM-W scholarship to attend the conference.
At womENcourage 2024, Soundharya co-presented a poster on academic career perception of bachelor students in computer science, contributing to the chapter's research on gender dynamics in IT education in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Soundharya's recognition demonstrates the chapter's investment in supporting women in computing to engage with the international ACM-W network and contribute to research on gender equity in the field.
